Magnolia-licious Blog Hop.....Hello Spring!!!!

Hi!  If you came from Julie's awesome blog, you are in the right place!  If you are just starting, you can find the details HERE.

I made an Easter Wall Hanging for my Spring project.  I repurposed a 20"x 20" vintage picture frame.  The frame is quite big, so these are regular size Magnolias, not minis.  I cut out the words using my Cricut.  I made the cursive words 3 dimensional by mounting them on foam dots.  I then used the Doohickey Tilda Lace die to help frame it a bit.  I then added the Doohickey Floral Swirl Corner die cuts around the matting to give it an elegant look.  I colored the Magnolia Tilda with LoveThe Day Before Christmas Stocking Tilda, and Tilda with Spitz Pocket stamps with sepia toned colored pencils.  I finished it off with flowers by WOC along with some seam binding and pearls. I hope you are enjoying the blog hop!!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Next stop is Dena's incredible blog!

  21. Beautiful frame with lovely colored tilda's. The frame must be pretty big since you used regular tilda's. Just gorgeous!

  22. Terrific framed art, Karen. You've put a lot of work into this. Love how you've popped up some of the words on foam pads. Wonderful colouring of the adorable Tildas--and yes I read your posting so I know they aren't minis...tee hee.
