Happy Retirement!

Hi! My card today is a bit different as I am using the Happily Ever After sentiment by Magnolia on a retirement card.  Tilda looks so nice and relaxed, just like retirement is supposed to be and hopefully she will be happily ever after now that she is retiring!  I colored my Tilda with Prismacolor pencils and markers and used Spellbinders dies to cut her out and frame her.  I added a aqua flower that I made and added flowers from Wild Orchid to go with it.  The swirl die is by Cheery Lynn and the butterfly was cut out on the Cricut.  I then added seam binding ribbon, an antique button, and some pearls.  The postage stamp is by Pink Paislee. I almost forgot to add that I used embossing powder around the lacy oval design of the Spellbinders die to give it that shiny look.

  13. She is perfect for retiring, in flip flops and ready to vacation around the world. Retirement is hopefully a happy time so the sentiment made sense to me. I love the soft colors and design of your card as it is really beautiful to look at.
