"W"ednesday at Magnolia-licious!

Hi!  I'm so glad that Diana started carrying Saturated Canary stamps......they are a lot of fun!  This stamp is called Yuki.  I stamped some plaid paper and fussy cut around it for the top part of the dress.  The rest of the image was colored with Prismacolor pencils.   I added Frantage and some distress ink onto the Spellbinders die cut oval.  I then added the following die cut from Doohickey dies:  Love Lamp Post, Leaf and Swirl, Heart Swirl, and Bloomy Tag.  I finished it off with lace, ribbon, and flowers all from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Thanks for stopping by!!  : )

You and Me!

Hi!  I am finally getting back into a normal routine now that the wedding is behind us.  It was a beautiful wedding and both the bride and groom said it was the wedding of their dreams, so all the hard work and planning was worth it!!  : )
I have a new card today that I have been working on here and there over the past week.  I used a Saturated Canary image that I colored with markers and colored pencils.
I used a Doohickey die for the heart tag and leaf swirl and the flowers, lace, and charm are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The butterfly and small heart are Papertrey Ink dies and I added pearls to those.  The postage mark is a stamp from Making Memories and the Be Mine sentiment is from Whimsy.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Birthday!

Hi!  I have another Saturated Canary card here today.  I'm am beginning to fall for these images and they sure are challenging as they take me longer to color than other stamps.  It's a lot of fun, but once I'm over half way through I get a bit nervous that I may mess up because there is so much time invested in it I don't want to have to throw it away and start over.  I colored this image with Prismacolor pencils and added some Stickles and Frantage to a few areas.  I added a Tim Holtz ticket and a stamped Papertrey Ink sentiment. The paper is by My Minds Eye and the butterfly is cut out of Bo Bunny patterned paper. I inked all the paper edges with Tim Holtz distress ink.  I added flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts, pearls, cluny lace and a doily to finish it off.  Thanks for stopping by! I entered this in the glamour and glitz challenge going on at Saturated Canary.
31   This was picked top 3.

Congratulations!!

Hi! I finally had chance to color up this Saturated Canary digi I bought a couple of weeks ago.  I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and I used Copics on her skin.  I used Frantage around her and glossy accents on her boots.  I added stickles to her outfit and on the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers.  The sentiment is from Cats Life Press and the butterfly is made out of Plaster of Paris and colored with distress inks.  The leaves are from a Marianne die and the papers are by My Minds Eye.
